Followed by a gang named Peaky Blinders, a group of criminals wear razors, hence the name. They were horrified in the slums of Birmingham slums after the First World War in the 1920s. The blind leader is Tommy Shelby, a living manipulative, evil gangster of Hollywood actor Cillian Murphy. He accidentally robbed dozens of machine guns and thousands of rounds of ammunition, heralding a strong Irish officer under the threat of international rifles and the arrival of inspector Sam Neill.

Murphy plays a magnetic role. Whenever he appears on the screen, he is always the dominant force, and when he is involved in the action, he is always unforgettable. He suddenly acted while riding a horse, and the gang leaders worried by those around him were well established here. However, this is not very bad performance, it is tight and controlled. It's great to have such a talented actor in a play like this coming back to the small screen. Murphy has not been on our TV screens since 2001, "What We Do Now." In addition, Murphy absolutely nailed his Brummy accent. Good job, Cyrian.

However, the beginning of this episode is not all about Murphy. With Sam Neill, Helen McCrory, Annabelle Wallis and Iddo Goldberg standing out, building the world and core character groups quickly and effectively is a good thing. Neil's powerful Inspector Campbell poses the biggest threat to Peaky Blinders clothing, while Neill strikes the perfect balance between authority and cynicism. Campbell's speech on his new allegations-half an hour into the episode, and Neil's first dialogue of any kind-were very powerful, handled wisely, and proved that he would bring the necessary dramatic power to make this Convincing opponents for the rest of the series.

After introducing all of these characters, it's surprising that the plot in this episode's plot doesn't cause confusion or man-made in the least. Thanks to Steven Knight for his work, the plan is so solid despite planning and building the world and building the event right away.

From the appearance, the opening is beautiful. Their streets are mainly shot in Leeds and Liverpool, their streets perfectly replace the illegal alleys of the second city, and all clothing and scenery are definitely part of it. Otto Bathurst's director is both cinematic and friendly and strong. It helps give Peaky Blinders an instant identity.

Just like a drama you expect to stage in 1919, the shadow of this battle is shrouded in the opening episode of this episode. The people involved in the war were obviously hurt by the war, especially Danny Whizz-Bang, a native who was stunned by shells and mad. This series of studies on the effects of post-traumatic stress remains to be explored, but this may be an interesting sideline, especially for Tommy.

Tommy Shelby rode on horses and broke through the rugged pub door, or the Shelby family discussed "business" Puzo novels like Mario's gangster family. It is unusual for British drama to be so clearly influenced by the American archetype, but this is a refreshing view of the crime drama of the period.

The choice of music is also bad for British drama. Just like Bathurst's direction, the decision to use modern rock as the soundtrack to post-war British drama was a bold choice. Its running effect is very good, which proves that the show has enough confidence to develop its own avant-garde, avant-garde path. In the second second, I heard a fierce repetition of "I Think I Smell the Mouse" in White Stripes, and I knew I had found a show for me.

The choice of music almost defines for me why Peaky Blinders looks great. It's bold, and more importantly, it's fun. Don't be fooled-Peaky Blinders is both complex and practical. However, it manages to balance this with a vibrant and stylistic balance. By that time, it's an incredibly impressive start, and I hope the rest of the series will materialize.
